Splendent, sharp metallic jet-black bixbyite cubes totally cover the undulating sawed massive manganite ore matrix on this rich and excellent small cabinet from the famous N'Chwaning II Mine. The impressive large central crystal is 1.2 cm. This very fine and rich piece is from the major 2010 find. Rare elsewhere, bixbyite is a major manganese ore species in the Kalahari.
