Topaz and bixbyite are classic and desirable Thomas Range species. A 8 mm gem, terminated, champagne-colored topaz crystal and two textbook, 5 mm, splendent jet-black cubic bixbyite crystals are aesthetically scattered on the small cabinet rhyolite matrix with a few more topaz and bixbyite crystals. Classic, showy and highly representative combination material from this noted locale. The Thomas Range is the Type Locality for bixbyite.
