A sharp and lustrous, 9 mm, jet-black bixbyite crystal with modified octohedral corners and nicely perched on rhyolite matrix from Utah. Complete all-around, with only a bit of edgewear on the corner near the matrix. A classic, large and highly representative example of this rare species Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
