Item Description

Bismuthinite is a rare bismuth sulfide, and good examples are hard to find from any locality, but pieces from the Germania Tungsten Mine are certainly few and far between. This piece features metallic, lead-grey colored crystals of Bismuthinite sitting on Quartz matrix. It should be noted that the label accompanying this piece states that this locality was the first report in the state of Washington for Bismuthinite (in the year 2000). This is the ONLY piece of this species that we've had to offer from this locality, and honestly it's the ONLY piece I've ever seen from this mine, and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
