Item Description
Splendent, metallic, bismuthinite needles to 7 mm line three, adjacent, quartz-lined vugs on this classic and excellent, old-time specimen from the historic mines of Cornwall. Some of the finest specimens of this species, extent, come from Cornwall and this is a good one. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. It comes with two old labels, including one from the famous British dealer Bryce Wright dating from 1866-1874 by its style, with matching number on the specimen to prove they go together. Wright was among the most prominent English mineral dealers in the mid 19th Century. This is a superb rarity in any case, perhaps worth $500-750 on its own. With the colelctible label, there should be added value. One rarely sees surviving wright labels.
