Here we have a dense example of these now very hard to find pieces of the great old classic Bismuth specimens from the Wolfram Camp locality in Queensland. This old locality is defunct, and will never produce these attractive specimens again. The piece is essentially a sold mass of metallic dark grey colored Bismuth, with no matrix. There are some spots on the piece that were originally believed to be crystal faces on these specimens were crystallized, but it turns out that they are actually negative "casts" from preexisting Quartz which has been dissolved away. If you've ever wanted a great showy piece of this classic material, don't miss out on this one as very few are available on the market. Valued $1,500 for the size alone.
