Bipyramidal Wulfenite xls on Mimetite

A decidedly very fine and sculptural wulfenite on mimetite combination from recent finds at famed Mina Ojuela. Lustrous, butterscotch-colored, bipyramidal wulfenite prisms, to 2.2 cm, are dramatically and artistically scattered on the mimetite-encrusted matrix. The beautifully placed large crystal is doubly terminated. All of the many major crystals are pristine. The one broken crystal near the base is certainly only a modest detraction to this elegant piece valued at $700-900.
