Item Description
Lustrous, translucent, very blocky, multi-hued caramel-colored, bipyramidal wulfenite crystals to 1.6 cm are elegantly clustered on the massive wulfenite matrix on this fine older specimen from the famed Los Lamentos mines. THIS IS NOT modern Ojuela Mine material. These very robust, darker crystals are quite distinct, in fact. There are more smaller crystals on the back. These are much more uncommon and should not be confused with the recent new find of these crystals. This piece probably dates to the 1960s and the style is VERY rarely seen. Valued $400.
