Item Description

Lustrous, butterscotch-colored, bipyramidal and pseudocubic wulfenite crystals are festooned on the sturdy, sculptural, gossan matrix. Several crystals are doubly terminated, including the largest, at 1.7 cm. A few green mimetite botryoids are a nice accent. All of the many crystals in the interior are pristine and the bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. This is a fine and showy piece from the recent finds at the famous Mina Ojuela. The piece displays well without aid.
