Item Description

Lustrous, butterscotch-colored, bipyramidal and pseudocubic wulfenite crystals are nicely scattered in clusters and as discrete crystals on the undulating, sculptural, gossan matrix. Several crystals are doubly terminated, including the largest, at 1.5 cm. The concentration of the crystals along the top is noteworthy and a few spill over on to the back. There are very few broken crystals for such dense coverage. This is a fine and showy piece from the recent finds at the famous Mina Ojuela.
