Bipyramidal Wulfenite, Mimetite & Calcite (2008 find)

Item Description

Butterscotch-colored, lustrous, translucent bipyramidal wulfenite crystals richly and aesthetically cover the front of the sturdy gossan matrix wedge. The crystals reach 1.6 cm (doubly terminated). Sparkly dark greenish-brown mimetite microcrystals cover the matrix. A two-sided piece with more wulfies on the back, larger brighter green mimetite botryoids and unique to the find glassy calcite crystals. A few broken crystals are noted, but this remains a showy and excellent two-sided combination from the famous 2008 find from Mina Ojuela.
