Bipyramidal Wulfenite & Mimetite

Lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored, bipyramidal wulfenite crystals are aesthetically scattered on all sides of the very vuggy matrix with contrasting apple-green mimetite botryoids on this showy and excellent combination specimen from famed Mina Ojuela. The longest wulfie, 1.6 cm, is doubly terminated. The oxide-coated vuggy matrix is quite hefty for the size, at 240 grams mass, indicating that this may be nearly solid mimetite.
