Bipyramidal and pseudocubic Wulfenite xls (Gary Weaver Coll.)

Item Description

Two generations of wulfenite prisms are preferentially festooned on the striking sturdy brecciated platy gossan matrix on this impressive large specimen from the well-known 2008 find at famed Mina Ojuela. The 4.0 cm central crestal cluster of lustrous prisms is composed of pseudocubic wulfies, while the rest of the very sculptural 360-degree piece is covered mostly with bipyramidal crystals. For all of the crystal density, there are actually very few broken crystals in the primary display view, which looks great without aid. Ex Gary Weaver Collection.
