Bipyramidal and pseudocubic Wulfenite xls

The front of this sculptural large specimen from famed Mina Ojuela is richly festooned with two generations of wulfenite crystals. Most of the lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored wulfies are bipyramidal, reaching 1.6 cm, with strikingly contrasting pseudocubic prisms, to 1.9 cm, attractively scattered about. A druse of sparkly gray-brown mimetite underlies the wulfenites. The few noted broken crystals, for all the crystal density, are certainly only a modest detraction. This rich and showy piece is from the well-known 2008 finds at Ojuela. It is a large, intact, rare specimen in this size! Valued $1800
