Bi-pyramidal and DT Wulfenite w/ Mimetite

Lustrous, translucent, bi-pyramidal, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals are richly scattered on the sturdy, sculptural, 3-dimensional matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from the recent find at the famous Mina Ojuela. Crystals reach 1.4 cm and several are doubly terminated. Amazingly, there are very few broken crystals. Scattered patches olive-green, botryoidal mimetite are a nice accent. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality. This is a very fine piece from the large lot we obtained, not a castoff. We just uncovered a held-back flat from our recent move.
