Villiaumite is a rare member of the Halite Group. It is a highly desirable species from the famed Poudrette Quarry, especially in gemmy, sharp, bi-colored crystals, such as this very fine thumbnail example. The glassy gem body is a pretty orange and is dramatically accented by the striking rich carmine-red area. Choice and classic material from the Charlie Key Collection. Sharp single crystals of this gemminess and rich coloration are RARE.
