Item Description
A "gem" of a 2-piece deal of gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmalines from the famous Himalaya Mine. The taller crystal has a very gemmy, olive-green, lower section followed by the classic, pretty "Himalaya-pink" zone. This crystal has a striking light green "cityscape" termination with a nifty cleavelandite blade hidden inside. The fatter crystal has a gemmy, variable olive-green body with a slight hint of reddish-brown in the pyramidal termination. They are complete all-around and pristine. Both crystals have gem nodules at the base. These are classic, well-striated, polychrome beauties from this renowned locale and would make excellent cutter material. 35 grams total weight - 20 and 15 grams each. Ex Hubert de Monmonier & University of Arizona Museum Collections (definitely older pieces).
