Item Description
The famous pegmatites at Virgem da Lapa produced a striking NEW find of tourmalines around Christmas, 2009. The bodies of the gemmy and lustrous, triangular pencils are a pleasing bottle-green with striking, contrasting, teal-blue zones. The lustrous, complex pyramidal terminations are opaque super dark green. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, each crystal has super-trivial bit of termination edgewear. A beautiful, highly representative tourmaline pair from the new find. 6 grams total weight. 3 grams each. Valued $500
