Item Description
These striking, highly etched bi-colored gemmy sceptered tourmalines from the mid-1990s finds at famed Barra do Salinas are certainly some of the most unusual and desirable tourmaline varietals from the pegmatites of Minas Gerais. This sculptural cutie has a gorgeous, gemmy indicolite blue scepter below the etched termination. The crystal grades down to teal-green and the rich pink core at the base is a classic accent. A pristine and fascinating 360-degree example of this exotic varietal from this noted find and locale. Comes with custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. 66.21 carats or over 13 grams mass. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. The glassiness, gemminess and striated faces made photography difficult. Valued $1500
