Item Description
A beautiful, gemmy and lustrous example of recent finds from the famous Barra de Salinas Mine (sorry, this piece was posted with a mixed up label showing it as Pederneira, which it is definitely not). Barra de Salinas is much more rare! This classic, bi-colored tourmaline is a striking scepter. The well-striated scepter body is a pleasing bottle-green. The very interesting, 3-sided, pyramidal termination is olive-green with nifty etched faces. The fabulous pink base makes this cutie look like a green rocketship with pink flames. The crystal is actually doubly terminated and is pristine. This is an excellent and gorgeous sceptered tourmaline from this renowned locale. 8 grams.
