Item Description

A classic and colorful, doubly terminated, bi-colored, tourmaline from the Himalaya Mine. The lower portion of the translucent, lustrous, well-striated crystal is a pleasing variable olive-green. Classic, vivid, "Himalaya pink" comprises most of the crystal. The upper termination is complex pinacoidal, while the lower termination is broken, partially healed and shows a gem nodule in its core. Otherwise, the crystal is pristine and it certainly looks quite impressive!. Weighs 80 grams. Definitely an older piece of excellent quality, valued $1000-1200. Ex Sam Cooper Collection.
