Item Description
Beautiful, gemmy, bi-colored tourmalines are aesthetically clustered atop albite matrix with glassy quartz crystals and muscovite books. The crystals have gorgeous, gemmy, spring-green sections below the highly lustrous, black terminations. The basal sections are very dark green to black. The impressive large crystal is 2.6 x 2.4 x 2.0 cm (high). One side and part of the adjacent tourmaline are contacted, but have no damage, per se. A bit of termination edge wear is noticed on the tourmalines, but have minimal impact on the displayability of this excellent and colorful cluster from Paprok. Broken tourmalines and quartz crystals are noted on the albite matrix, but this remains a showy and highly representative example of the combination species and locale.
