Item Description

A stunningly limpid, complexly terminated, gem quartz crystal is beautifully accented with a 3.5 cm, bi-colored, gem tourmaline. The gemmy body of the tourmaline is a very pleasing bottle-green and both broken ends are very dark green or black. There are even a few needle tourmalines, to 1.3 cm, embedded or enclosed in the quartz. Two of the prism faces on the quartz are preferentially frosted. Complete all-around, the quartz is very nearly pristine, with only one spot of trivial termination edge wear. There's a broken tourmaline embedded in the base of the quartz crystal. Choice and very showy combination material from the Marty Zinn Collection # 7960.
