Item Description
A 3.7 cm, gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmaline is jauntily set in the side of a very glassy, transparent to translucent, euhedral quartz crystal from the famous Himalaya Mine. Classic "Himalaya pink" is capped by an apple-green termination. A large, 2.0 cm wide tourmaline once lay in the striated groove on the other side of the quartz crystal. The quartz does have some bruises, contacts and periphery wear, but this is a very showy, old-time piece from 1960s or 70s, or possibly earlier mining efforts. Excellent combination material from the Rukin Jelks Collection.
