Item Description
A classic and showy bi-colored tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. The frosted, complex pinacoidal termination is underlain by an up to 3 mm thick, gemmy, pretty apple-green zone. The classic, gemmy to translucent, "Himalaya pink" section follows down to the darker pink basal section. The base is actually broken and rehealed, so technically this is doubly terminated crystal. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only the most trivial of termination bruising. One prism face of the trigonal crystal is frosted and the other has more embedded lepidolite. 23 grams mass.
