Item Description

The famous Golconda pegmatite of Brazil has produced a stunning array of tourmalines in widely different colors and crystal forms. This is a very nifty thumbnail cluster three parallel-growth, bi-colored crystals. The basal portion of the lustrous, well-striated, gemmy/translucent crystals is gorgeous, rich indicolite blue. A pretty teal-blue section follows and etched terminations are blue-green. This classic thumb is from the 1960s to early 70s finds at this renowned pegmatite. Nearly pristine, with only trivial side wear. Seldom on the market. 40.32 carats or 8 grams.
