Item Description

A lovely pair of bi-colored elbaites from the most famous tourmaline locality in Pakistan. The crystals are very aesthetically set on the lustrous, pearlescent, cleavelandite blades. The elbaites exhibit the classic and desirable colors for Stak Nala with the beautiful, luscious, gemmy to translucent soft baby pink terminations. A colorless section is followed by a thin pastel-green layer. The bodies are schorl wrapped in a thin sheath of olive-green. The side car crystal on the back is a super accent. This is a great 360-degree display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These pieces are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in todays market in this quality. This super miniature dates to the 1980s finds. Valued at $1200 on an associated old dealer label, and well worth $1500-2000.
