Item Description

A colorful, stout and sculptural bi-colored tourmaline from Pech. The parallel-growth, layered, 360-degree, trigonal crystal is very glassy, lustrous, well-striated and is gemmy to translucent. The lower 4.5 cm of the crystal is a pleasing variable indicolite teal-blue, with the color saturation increasing up the crystal. The upper 1.4 section with the striking multiple terminations is rich teal-green. Complete all-around, the side car crystals on one side add much character. Some of the interesting and striking multiple terminations are contacted, but there is only trivial, hard-to-see bruising. A fine example of bi-colored indicolite tourmaline from well-known Pech.
