Item Description
Simply a gorgeous bi-colored tourmaline from classic 1960s-1970s finds at the Santa Rosa Mine, a highly desirable red-tipped tourmaline. The raspberry-red termination is underlain by a striking, water-clear, gem, emerald-green section. A translucent, 6 mm, teal-blue section follows. The lower portion of the lustrous, well-striated crystal is a pretty lavender color and is partially etched. The crystal is nearly pristine except for only trivial bruising/contacting at one spot on the termination and small bit of side wear at the base. The gemmy green section GLOWS with color and is beautifully complimented by the reds, blues and purples. Valued $800-1000.
