Item Description
A wonderful, complexly colored, well-formed and highly lustrous tourmaline from Madagascar. The termination has beautiful gemmy zones of teal-blue with some orange. There is a gemmy section of pinkish-orange in the center of the crystal. A gemmy, thin blue rind encases the piece and the base is an opaque, very dark blue or black. Difficult to photograph. As of 2011, liddicoatite is no longer a valid mineral species, but for the purposes of this crystal, we are going to refer to it as liddicoatite. Pristine. 17 grams.
