Item Description

Mineral specimens of any species are very uncommon from this obscure Brazilian pegmatite district. Fine tourmaline specimens, such as this, very rare. The base of this sculptural thumbnail is composed of gemmy and lustrous, teal-blue tourmaline crystals. Impressively resting at 90 degrees to the base is a beautiful bi-colored crystal. It has a teal-blue body and a very gemmy, gorgeous and striking, emerald-green, drill bit termination. Classic, old-time material from the 1960s or 70s.
