Item Description
An impressive, sculptural, jackstraw cluster of large bi-colored gemmy tourmaline crystals from the late 1990s/early 2000-ish finds at the Pederneira Mine. The crystals are highly lustrous and well-striated. The large, 11.3 cm crystal has a striking and beautiful red termination. The bodies are an unusual grayish-blue, an uncommon tourmaline color. Nearly all of the crystals have pretty pink interior sections. The remaining terminations were mostly contacted against the pocket walls. We count 4 or 5 clean repairs to this piece, which is quite common for larger Pederneira specimens of this particular style and therefore acceptable when priced into account. Specimens of this quality usually sell for $1500-2000 at shows.
