Item Description
A really cute rabbit ears thumbnail pair of bi-colored gem tourmalines from the famous finds in the early 1990s at Barra de Salinas. The highly lustrous, well-striated bodies are a rich bottle-green and the terminations are yellow-green. Both crystals are doubly terminated and one is a scepter with pink at the base. The other basal termination is partially dinged. That's a contact with no damage on one prism face. A very aesthetic, 360-degree pair from this find, with only one trivial spot of edge wear. Comes with a Roberts Minerals label, who handled much of this find and has a $350 price. It is worth more today. 43.91 carats or over 8 grams.
