Gem, bi-colored Paprok tourmalines are always desirable, especially on matrix. A beautiful, 3.5 cm, sharply terminated crystal is aesthetically set in a euhedral quartz crystal. The classic blush-pink termination is underlain by a striking, large, achroite/colorless zone above the more vivid pink basal section. The tourmaline is pristine. The base has been sawn to enhance the super display quality of this very fine combination piece from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
