Item Description

A glorious, absolutely gemmy, and glassy 49-gram bi-colored tourmaline from the famed Santa Rosa Mine. The parallel-growth crystal has striking sculptural form. Much of the length of the crystals are bright emerald-green, but large portions are intense indicolite blue, depending on the incidence of light. The complex terminations of this flattened piece are matte frosted. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A small ding on the front near the base, a chip at the base below and a bruise below the termination on the back are noted, but have absolutely minimal impact to the stunning quality of this old-time beauty. Valued at $2500.
