Bi-colored Fluorite w/ large Chalcopyrite xls (Ross Lillie Coll.)

Item Description

Intergrown gemmy and lustrous, color-zoned fluorite cubes with lightly frosted faces have straw-yellow interiors and pretty sharp purple edge phantoms. The cubes reach 2.4 cm and are very attractively peppered with "very large" for the locale, sharp, brassy chalcopyrite sphenoids, to 5 mm. This very showy, aesthetic and rare combination is from the Ross Lillie Collection # 0708 and was collected in April, 1994 in advance mining from the Poe pod.
