Item Description
Highly deceptive and excellent bi-colored fluorite from the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine. The aesthetically intergrown dense mounded cluster of very glassy cubes, appearing to be mostly dark purple, rest on the massive light straw-yellow fluorite matrix. BUT, back lighting and bright light reveals the cubes, to 3.0 cm, have gemmy golden-yellow interiors with purple edge phantoms! A BONUS are the patches of hydrocarbons revealed by UV light (yellow). From Ross Lillie, with a September, 1991 date stamped on the back of his label.
