Item Description

A striking and aesthetic interpenetrating pair of gemmy and lustrous, violet fluorite cubes is included with nifty clouds of white fluorite on this very fine example from this classic English locale. The piece is nearly a floater, as the broken backside is mostly covered with sparkly drusy quartz. Complete all-around. Gently bruised corners are noted, but are certainly a modest detraction. SUPER fluorescence in any kind of bright light! Specimens of this quality are highly desirable. Probably old-time material, but no proof. The mine closed in1931.
