Bi-colored Fluorite w/ Chalcopyrite (Meieran Coll.)

Item Description

A rare and showy combination specimen from Bavaria and the Gene Meieran Collection. A little cluster of sharp, brassy, chalcopyrite crystals is aesthetically nestled in a crevice on the striking compound, bi-colored, single cuboctahedral fluorite crystal. The lustrous, translucent, pastel-green crystal is capped with a thin, pretty, rose-pink zone. The blocky, stepped form of the crystal is impressive. The back is unusually etched. Purple fluorescence.
