Item Description
Barite on fluorite specimens are an uncommon occurrence from China and are RARE in this quality. A single, 6 mm, amber barite prism rests on striking, dense, lustrous and translucent, stepped-growth fluorite cubes. The bi-colored cubes are a pretty grass-green with light purple noted on edges. The few gently bruised corners on the front are a very modest detraction, as you can see. This is actually a complete floater, as the one edge and back are completely healed over and there are more barites on the back! Rich purple fluorescence. Rare, choice and colorful large combination material. Valued at $750-1000.
