Bi-colored Fluorite w/ Barite

Item Description

A classic and dramatic large plate of bi-colored fluorite cubes beautifully accented by barite from the famous Elmwood Mine. The translucent and lustrous, rich purple cubes reach 6.0 cm, have typical dense stepped-growth faces and nearly all of the corners have striking colorless interiors, that look amber through the purple. Some lightly bruised corners are noted along with the modest periphery wear. This remains an excellent and showy large combination example of this varietal and displays well from either side.
