Bi-colored Fluorite stalactite (fluorescent)

This striking and highly unusual piece is from the famous Yaogangxian Mine. It consists of stacked, intergrown, lustrous, lightly frosted transparent to translucent fluorite cubes to 1.2 cm (at the top!). Fluorite stalactites are UNCOMMON from any locale. VERY interestingly, the cubes on one side are colorless, transparent, while the cubes on the other half are gray from iron oxides. Pristine. A most impressive, 360-degree piece. Moderate purple fluorescence, much brighter on the untinted side. 2014 pocket.
