Very fine, rich and showy small cabinet fluorite from recent new finds (after 2015) at an unexpected worldwide locality - Larkin's Quarry in Ireland. Sculptural, densely intergrown translucent bi-colored fluorite cubes, to 2.6 cm, have satin lustre etched faces. The cubes are mostly light purple and all have darker violet edge phantoms. Some of the cubes have subtle green and violet interiors, adding a fascinating aspect to the crystals, when they are back lit. The interior is pristine and the bit of periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free.
