Bi-colored Fluorite (fluorescent) on dolostone (Kay Robertson Coll.)

Item Description

A 2.5 x 2.5 cm, pristine, very glassy, highly lustrous, two-toned fluorite cube is jauntily set atop sculptural sucrosic dolostone matrix on this fine small cabinet from this well-known quarry. The corners are absolutely water-clear, colorless with the underlying matrix causing the yellow tint. The interior veils are white. The smaller cubes on one side are fine accessories to this classic fluorite. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12992 and acquired from acquired from well-known Canadian dealer David Joyce in the 1990s.
