Item Description
Wonderful water-clear, sky-blue to near colorless fluorite cubes to 3.9 cm with beautiful purple edge phantoms and unusual frosted faces and modified stepped-growth corners are dramatically clustered on large matrix plate covered with muscovite blades. Many of the cube faces are gem-clear and you can peer in to the stunning interiors. The solitary small arsenopyrite crystal above the large cluster is a super accent. You can barely tell, that there is a cleave on the right side of the large cube. I purchased this piece in a large lot from photographs and paid $2000 in China for it. Shangbao Mine fluorites of this superior quality have become a classic and are increasingly difficult to obtain. Photography was difficult due to the glassiness and fluorite colors against the contrasting muscovite matrix. Moderate purple fluorescence. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
