Bi-colored Fluorite cuboctahedron on Quartz

An impressive, sharp, 5.5 x 5.3 cm, variegated purple, green and blue fluorite cuboctahedron is aesthetically set in needle quartz matrix on this striking and excellent specimen from this well-known locale. The crystal looks mostly purple in the photos, but it's not. The interior of the gemmy crystal is obscured by the frosted, stepped-growth faces, but three of the exposed cubic corner faces are glass-clear, revealing the pretty interior colors. Moderate purple fluorescence. A choice combination example with a striking large crystal.
