Item Description

This ancient silver and cobalt mine started in 1528 (MINDAT) and this is an excellent and classic bi-colored fluorite from the locale. Lustrous, dark violet cubes have hard-to-see golden-amber yellow cores. Translucent areas look raspberry-red. The cubes reach 2.2 cm and the few, etched-hollow crystals really add pizzazz and mystery to the piece. Muted purple fluorescence.
