Striking, color-zoned fluorite cuboctahedrons are attractively scattered on the large mounded combination matrix on this aesthetic and excellent two-sided specimen from the famous Shangbao Mine. The beautiful, gemmy and very glassy, mint-green fluorites, to 2.3 cm, have striking dense stepped-growth faces that are dramatically accented with light purple color-zoned cube faces. Single and doubly terminated calcite scalenohedrons are attractively clustered and isolated on the quartz crystal matrix, that includes some pyrite. Complete all-around and pristine, this is a very fine 360-degree combination fluorite from this noted locale. Both the fluorite and calcite fluoresce. Fairly valued at $1250-1700 for combination quality and aesthetics.
