Pearlescent, ivory colored stilbite crystals underlay and flank a striking, 7.5 cm tall, pastel green, lustrous, translucent fluorapophyllite crystal with a colorless, gem termination. Very dramatic! The large stilbite bowtie is 6.8 cm and is doubly teminated. I love this new style of apophyllite crystals ending in such stark and sudden planar terminations, and bought much of the pocket. Both species are on a basalt matrix crust covered with popcorn-like, drusy quartz. The composition and aesthetics of this pristine Jalgaon combination specimen are simply outstanding. Certainly one of the very finest small cabinet Jalgaon apophyllite combination pieces we have offered at auction. Valued at $1000-1250.
