Bi-colored Elbaite w/ Lepidolite (excellent miniature!)

A delightful 360-degree intergrown cluster of three classic "Himalaya pink" elbaite crystals beautifully accented with gemmy lavender lepidolite crystals from this renowned pegmatite. The juicy, striated crystals are gemmy, transparent to translucent and have zoned light olive-green basal areas. Complete all-around. The two primary terminations have only trivial edge wear. The third termination (a partial) and the adjacent prism face were contacted against another crystal, but there is little actual damage. Another prism face is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. By overall aesthetics and combination, this is certainly one of the most adorable bi-colored Himalaya tourmalines of any size we have offered at auction. Valued at $2000. THIS IS ONE OF THE FINEST MINIATURES I KNOW OF - it is perfect, elegant, and a cluster, rather than just a single crystal as most are in this size.
